Lakers Sonics Tickets
If you’ve got a pair of Lakers Sonics tickets, you and a friend will get to see Lakers newcomer Gary Payton pitted against the team he ran with for more than 13 seasons. Playing against a team you have a deep rooted history with can leave you playing with more emotion and determination. The Sonics do not pose a direct threat in the Western Conference, but should they win against the Lakers it would be the shining light onto the Lakers problems this season. With the Sonics lackluster performance the last couple of seasons, the Lakers shouldn’t have much of a problem posting another win in this match up.
Lakers Sonics Tickets: Worthwhile?
By all means, the books tell us that the Sonics have little or no chance against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the two teams split the first two meetings in the 2003-04 season. With the Lakers being knocked around by some of the NBA’s red-headed stepchildren, you might be surprised by the Sonics when they match the Lakers point for point in a late-season game. Ray Allen is the man who the Lakers need to contain for the Sonics. His overall field goal percentage usually hovers around 42% but he can drive to the hoop from just about anywhere. So, is a pair of Lakers Sonics tickets worthwhile? I guess it all depends on how much you like watching the underdogs pitted against a better division team.
